Sam Boyd, a mathematics major, graduated 1st in the May 1974 graduating class of the College of Arts and Sciences at Texas Tech University with a 4.0 G.P.A. and with Highest Honors.  He completed his M.B.A. with a 4.0 G.P.A. and was 1st in the May 1977 class.  He graduated 7th in his law school class at Texas Tech University, was the Managing Editor of the Texas Tech Law Review, was selected the International Law Graduate for the Year 1977 by Phi Delta Phi (International Legal Fraternity) and graduated with High Honors.
